Constitution
The Name of the Club shall be "Garden Lovers Club"
Article I
The object of the Club is the beautification of our homes and gardens in the community.
Article III
The officers shall be elected biennially in February to take office in April.

The Club shall meet every month except January.

In the event of dissolution of the Club, and funds remaining in the treasury will be disbursed to a non-profit organization to be determined by a two-thirds vote of the membership existing at the time of dissolution.

Article I

- The offices shall be President, First Vice-President, Second President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian.
- President: Official representative of the Club, presides at all meetings, selects chairmen and committees, and attends district and state meetings.
- First Vice-President: Presides in President's absence is program chairman, and is responsible for all programs and gifts for speakers.
- Second Vice-President: Is responsible for all monthly flower exhibits and awards and assigns persons to clerk for the judges.
- Recording Secretary: Keeps minutes of all meetings, prepares monthly meeting article for local paper.
- Corresponding Secretary: Is responsible for all Club correspondence.
- Treasurer: Is entrusted with receipts and care and disbursement of all funds.
- Historian: Is responsible for preserving the history of the Club by keeping a preeminent record of activities of members.
Article III
The officers shall be elected biennially in February to take office in April.
Article IV
- The membership shall be limited to thirty members.
- The name of any person, who has visited the Club and desires membership, may be submitted to the membership by and member of the Club provided the same is in writing and is endorsed by either two other members of the Club. The manner of voting being a ballot, a three-fourths majority is necessary for the election to membership.
- Anyone who fails to pay dues by June 1st is automatically dropped from roll.
Article V
The Club shall meet every month except January.
Article VI
- The standing committees shall be as follows: Nomination, Program Classifications, Flower Exhibit, Telephone, and Sunshine.
- These committees shall be appointed by the President.
- The two immediate past Presidents, the Parliamentarian, and one member at large will serve on the legislative Committee for the purpose of resolving any matter related to the policies of the Club.
- The Executive Committee shall be composed of the officers, the new officers, and the Legislative Committee.
- An executive meeting shall be held in January. Lunch will be Dutch treat. Any suggestions for changes or input may be presented to the President.
